Story: Skydiving

This is a little video/animation of a stick man skydiving. I got this inspiration from a show called Impractical Jokers, which I LOVE!!! I got rid of the plane name so it wasn't copyrighting the owner's plane. So I replaced it with my nickname that I got from Impractical Jokers, Ja'Crispy! :D

First, I drew out a story board and figured out what my short story was going to be about. I remembered on the show that James Murray, one of the Jokers, was deathly afraid of heights and had to skydive for a punishment, incase you haven't seen the show. So, I thought that would be a cool animation.

Next, I started making the different scenes in my story on Adobe Photoshop and then uploaded them on to Adobe After Effects.

Finally, I rendered it out and posted it.

I did notice that I had a "happy accident". It was when the stick man was jumping out of the plane, that the door closed by itself when it was flying away which gave it a cool touch.

My strengths when making this were being able to make the plane fly, have the door close by itself without messing with it, and downloading everything that I need in Adobe After Effects.

My weaknesses were rendering it out and where it went, walk cycle that I cut out, and putting in the right keyframe/time. The reason why I took out one of my scenes is because I couldn't get the stick man to walk right and get into the plane, so I started the movie when the plane was up in the air and flying.

I might have to go back and fix him when he is falling so it looks smoother and not so windy.

Overall, I think it turned out well.
