The article I chose to review about was a movie review about the new movie, The Walk. The author of this article is Carole Mallory.
In 1974, Phillippe Petit walked on a tightrope across the World Trade Center towers 110 stories high up. Joseph Gordon Levitt is the main character who plays Petit in the film. The Walk explains about the history of Petit's life and how he came up with the inspiration of tightrope walking. Throughout the time of Petit wanting to walk between the Twin Towers, he has to go through of not minding of breaking the law of art.
Throughout the film, it will keep the audience hooked onto the suspense and mystery behind it.
Mallory's opinion about the movie is that she recommends this movie to everyone, it is a "don't miss", and "it is a winner and an homage to the Twin Towers which shine until the very end".
The author's strengths throughout the article is the tone and words of describing the events of the film and history behind it.
Her weakness would probably be her argument because it doesn't seem like Mallory is trying to debate about the film, but to inform and persuade the reader about the film/history.
Overall, I thought the article was a very interesting and grasping article to read. I am definitely seeing The Walk.
